What is a Rich Text Editor?

  • The Rich Text Editor (RTE) is a tool that allows you to add or edit content, images, links, and other components on the page without having to know any code.
  • The toolbar lets you structure and style content, promoting accessibility and user experience and making information easier to follow and understand.
  • It displays the content and any formatting as it would display in the browser. Rich Text Editor (RTE) toolbar functions are similar to that of a word processor, with limitations.
