Epic is the enterprise electronic health record (EHR) used across UConn Health and affiliated Community Connect sites. It supports clinical documentation, patient safety initiatives, revenue cycle operations, and day-to-day clinical and operational workflows.

At UConn Health, Epic is supported through a collaborative clinical and IT partnership model. Workflow, physician leadership, nursing leadership and IT teams work together to ensure Epic workflows are standardized, governance‑approved, and aligned with organizational priorities to support high-quality, safe patient care.
