What happens After You Request a Referral
- Initial contact and scheduling occur within 72 hours of an adverse event.
- Initial outreach is conducted virtually, over the phone, or in person based on the clinician’s preference.
- Conversation focuses on listening, validation, and shared understanding.
- Follow-up after the initial meeting in 2-3 days, and up to one week, to ensure provider/nurse/employee continues to cope effectively.
- Referrals/resources provided if additional support is needed.
