At UConn Health, we’re incredibly proud of the people who power our mission forward. From clinical experts, academic leaders, and talented workforce, we have created a community who tirelessly provide exceptional care, education, research, and support.
Seasons of Gratitude is our way of celebrating this commitment all year long. Through monthly recognitions, appreciation events, and moments of shared gratitude, we honor the meaningful impact each person brings to UConn Health. Together, we’re building a culture that celebrates—not just during national appreciation days, but in everyday moments that matter.
Each month, we highlight the diverse professions that drive our mission of care, discovery, and education. Honorees are recognized on The Hub and across digital displays throughout the organization.

This month we celebrate Proud to Be UConn Health Day, a special day of gratitude during Hospital Week, Tuesday, May 13!
At UConn Health, every profession contributes to the care, discovery, and service that define who we are. Through our Seasons of Gratitude program, we recognize the wide range of roles that support our mission — month after month, throughout the year. These expressions of appreciation are shared on The Hub and displayed on public screens throughout our organization to ensure our gratitude reaches every corner of our community.
At UConn Health, we want to make it even more special. During Hospital Week, we’re dedicating a day to show our appreciation in person—clearly, visibly, and wholeheartedly. This day is for everyone.
Throughout the day on Tuesday, May 13, leadership teams will be visiting work areas throughout the day with treats, stickers, and personal thanks to show how much we value the contributions of every team member—from behind-the-scenes staff to frontline caregivers.
It's a visible, organization-wide moment of appreciation and part of our ongoing Seasons of Gratitude commitment. Let’s make this a moment to celebrate everyone who makes UConn Health a place we’re proud to be.
