A New Version of Banner has Rolled Out
UConn Health has rolled out a NEW version of the Banner Finance and HR systems. Please see below for more information.
What This Means for Users
Internet Native Banner (INB) Users
Employees who use INB will see the same functionality with improved navigation, enhanced filtering, search capabilities, and data exporting.
- A new Banner Access link
- A new way to login using their UConn Health/AD credentials
- A new look with enhanced menus and features
Self Service Banner (SSB) Users
Employees who use SSB for updating their employee profiles or checking their payroll accruals will see:
- A new Banner Access link
- A new way to login using their UConn Health/AD credentials
APEX Users
Employees who use APEX will see:
- A new Banner Access link
- Minor changes to menu sections with links for common Finance and HR applications
EPAF Submitters and Approvers
Employees who submit and/or approve EPAFs will see:
- A new Banner Access link
- A new way to login using their UConn Health/AD credentials
- No change to functionality and navigation
Husky Buy Users
Employees who use Husky Buy will see:
- No change in functionality
ePrint Users
Employees who use ePrint will see:
- A new Banner Access link
**09/13/2024 Update**
The ePrint application has now been updated to incorporate single-sign on. Similar to Banner 9 Application Navigator, users will be prompted to enter their UConn Health Active Directory (AD) credentials prior to accessing ePrint.
Additionally, the URL to ePrint has changed, if you have saved the ePrint URL as a browser favorite, please replace the URL with the ePrint Access link, which is available on the left-hand side of this page (Under the Banner dropdown list).
Overview
The Banner website (banner.uchc.edu) will soon be taken down so that IT may retire its server. Much of the content on the site was either linked to departmental pages, was superseded, or has been transferred to existing UConn Health websites. Over the next couple of weeks the remaining relevant content will also be transferred. The Finance website has been updated with links to log into Banner, HuskyBuy, Strata, and ePrint. These links can be found under the Banner tab.
In addition, the following popular tools have also been relocated:
