Dear UConn School of Medicine Faculty, Staff, and Students,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Srisudhakar (Sri) Nowduri, a medical student at our UConn School of Medicine, passed away unexpectedly on April 7. This is a heartbreaking loss for our school community. Sri was valued as a colleague, classmate, and member of our medical school family, and will be deeply missed. We extend our deepest sympathies to Sri's family, loved ones, classmates, and all those who knew him.
We recognize that this news may be distressing. Support resources are available for students, faculty, and staff:
- Student Behavioral Health - please email studentclinic@uchc.edu and they will triage your request expeditiously.

- Employee Assistance Program – 1-800-676-HELP (4357), The Lexington Group website.
Students who need academic or clinical flexibility during this time are encouraged to reach out to Student Affairs. We will share information about memorial services or opportunities to honor Sri when available, if his family wishes.
